PETITION: Give ALL care staff the £1,000 bonus they deserve

ARWYDDWCH: Rhowch y bonws o £1,000 i BOB aelod o staff gofal

Mae Llywodraeth Cymru yn talu bonws o £1,000 i'r gweithlu gofal.

Mae gweithlu cynorthwyol cartrefi gofal megis glanhawyr a chogyddion wedi mynd y tu hwnt i'r hyn oedd yn ofynnol ohonynt yn ystod yr argyfwng iechyd cyhoeddus diweddar, ond nad ydi't staff yma am dderbyn y bonws gan Llywodraeth Cymru.

Rydym yn credu fod peidio a thalu y bonws i'r gweithlu cynorthwyol yn creu dwyn haen o fewn y gweithlu ac yn creu drwg deimlad.

Galwn ar i'r Llywodraeth i dalu'r bonws o £1,000 i'r gweithlu cynorthwyol hefyd.

Ychwanegwch eich enw at y ddeiseb isod!

SIGN: Give ALL care staff the £1,000 bonus they deserve

The Welsh Government will pay the care workforce a bonus of £1,000.

The care home's supporting workforce such as cleaners and cooks have gone beyond what was required of them during the recent public health crisis, but theses members of staff will not receive the bonus from the Welsh Government.

We believe that not paying the bonus to the support workforce is unjust to the sterling work they've done during the COVID crisis.

We also call on the Government to pay the support workforce a bonus of £1,000.

Staff should be treated differently than any other, completely unfair.

I am one of those cooks in a care home and I’ve worked all the way through this pandemic.

It’s a whole team that made a difference during COVID and going forward they will continue to make a difference. Can’t run a care home without care staff, cleaners, cooks and maintenance. They are all important.
